As the company has been involved in a whole range of film productions since the 1976, it was only a matter of time that it would eventually move into the world of broadcast
terrestrial and satellite television.
Because of its heavy involvement within the travel industry this transition occurred in the early nineties when Phil Slater Associates was approached by a UK broadcaster to
produce a series of intemational travel programmes, that were both educational and informative as well as interesting and fast moving.
This highly acclaimed Independent Travellers Guide series, was one ofthe best selling travel series worldwide, and is currently licensed to broadcasters in over 75 countries.
This led over the following years to a whole range of television programming from its initial travel related series, the company went on to produce niche documentaries and light entertainment series for mainstream television networks to easily translatable travel and childrens programmes that cater for the global mass market.
With a continuing production slate every year, the company produces a whole raft of new programming annually, which are represented for distribution by Phil Slater Associates team, at every major Television market and exhibitions around the world.
